The VBDR will hold its eighth meeting on September 10-11, 2008, in Washington, D.C. area, in an effort to reach veterans of the 1945-1946 occupation of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, and veterans of U.S. sponsored atmospheric nuclear weapons tests from 1945 to 1962. Details about the meeting will be announced in the Federal Register and on the VBDR website when arrangements are finalized.
